Supported Group Living – Program
Our Adult In-Care Services support individuals aged 18 and above with complex diverse abilities and behavioral issues.
About the Program
Supported Group Living provides 24/7 staffed residential care in community homes for adults who require consistent supervision, behavioral support, or structured living environments to maintain safety, wellness, and daily functioning.
Who It Supports
Adults who may:
- Have developmental disabilities or complex behavioral needs
- Require overnight staffing and continuous supervision
- Benefit from structured routines and predictable environments
- Need medical/medication coordination
- Require support with community access and social interactions
- Require housing stability and crisis diversion
Core Supports Provided:
- 24/7 awake or sleep staffing models (based on assessment)
- Daily living and personal care support
- Medication administration and health appointment coordination
- Behavioral and sensory support planning
- Cultural and identity-based supports
- Community access, recreation, and skill-building
- Transportation for essential needs (health, cultural, social, employment)

Adult Supportive Independent Living (SIL) Program
The Supportive Independent Living Program provides community-based supports for adults who are capable of semi-independent living with structured assistance. The focus is on practical life skills, community inclusion, emotional regulation, and long-term stability.
Services Include:
- Daily living & hygiene support
- Budgeting, banking & tenancy support
- Appointment & medication coordination
- Emotional/behavioral coaching
- Education, employment & volunteer pathways
- Safety & crisis diversion
- Cultural & community connection
Ideal For:
Adults who do not require 24-hour residential care but benefit from coaching, supervision, and structured routines.
Respite Care Program
The Respite Care Program offers short-term, planned, or emergency relief for families, caregivers, and service agencies while ensuring the individual receives safe, respectful, and meaningful support
Available Options:
- Short-term residential placements in FlexiCare homes
- In-home support (based on referral)
- Transitional respite from hospitals or group settings
Respite Provides:
- 24/7 supervision & trained staff support
- Medication & health monitoring
- Behavioral & communication support
- Recreation & community access
- Cultural & social engagement

Family Living Program
The Family Living Program places individuals in approved family homes where they receive long-term care, life skills development, and cultural belonging within a family environment rather than institutional settings

FlexiCare Provides:

Post Majority Support Program
The Post Majority Support Program bridges young adults (18–26) from child welfare or youth systems into adulthood by providing culturally safe mentorship, housing stability, life skills, and community integration
Program Focus:
- Transitional housing & tenancy navigation
- Life skills (budgeting, cooking, hygiene)
- AISH & PDD navigation
- Cultural identity & belonging
- Education, employment & training pathways
- Mental health & medical coordination
- Crisis diversion & safety planning
- Transportation & community access
Ideal For:
Young adults who are:
- Leaving foster/kinship/group care
- Navigating adult systems for the first time
- At risk of homelessness or isolation
- Lacking natural supports or cultural anchors
